Creating a side spin is not that hard. It works really well when used at the right times. The key is to keep you opponent honest and guessing. Otherwise, he / she will pick up on your spin and use it against you.

The way to accomplish a side spin is to move the racket sideways towards your core. For example you start swinging from one corner or side of the table towards your core or abdomen.

There are 2 big names that seem to control the market¬†Kettler and Stiga. Stiga seems to be more popular for indoor heavy duty ping pong tables. They are very durable and highly rated by consumers. Kettler on the other hand comes second to Stiga; However it’s considered a decent table.
