If your opponent applies bottom spin to the ball and you use top spin to return it, you are only going to increase the spin on the ball and that is going to force you into the net every single time.  With skill you might be able to figure out just how high to hit it to get it over the net but it&#039;ll take you a while.  But that&#039;s just my opinion.  Someone correct me if I&#039;m wrong.</description>
